10 weeks to go!

Wow. It's all starting to hit me. On Monday our birthing classes start and on Tuesday we have an appointment to meet with the pediatrician we're hoping to use. Time is going by so fast. In (hopefully) less than 10 weeks we'll have a baby.

We went on a shopping spree last week to BRU to try to get some more things we need. Ended up saving $45 with all the coupons we had! That store has become my new home. We've been busy setting everything up and I've been working my butt off on organizing the house. I have about 5 garbage bags of junk that I have to have Chris take outside. I think I'm going to have to take a break until garbage day on Tuesday because there won't be anymore room in the can. It will be nice once everything's all organized though. In a small house it's very easy for things to get cluttered. Luckily the nesting phase has started to kick in so I should be able to get things in order before the baby comes.

My friend Heather is due November 30th. We took pictures together back in the beginning of July and then again at my shower. It's funny we even thought we had bumps back in July.

Baby Shower

I had a GREAT baby shower yesterday. Everyone was so generous and we just have the cutest things for our little one. All three Grandma's were the hostesses and they did a great job with everything. I was so happy to be able to spend the afternoon with friends and family. Now if only everything could be magically put away.

Thanks everyone for making it such a special day! Here are some pictures:

My MIL made this for us- isn't it so cute!
My mom made chocolates...yumm
When we got home I took everything I could inside and started going through it. Hopefully Chris will take the big stuff in today! Now I just need to figure out where to put everything. The challenges of a small house.

I put the mobile together all by myself!

The Nursery!

The nursery is just about done! It's nothing fancy but I love it! All we need now is to put some decorations up (not too many the room is very tiny), get bedding and other baby accessories. I think I might hang one or two chocolate frames up and I want to do wall letters. Those will have to be done after the baby's born since we don't know what we're having and we still haven't decided on any names.

When you first walk in the room. We'll be getting new bedding once the baby is here (want something gender specific since everything else in neutral).

Dresser - will be putting a changing pad on top. Something will be going on the wall above, not sure what yet.

The closet. I'm so glad Chris re-did it! It's tiny but it'll work.

The crib!
Chris did such a great job putting it together yesterday. It's a Munire Essex in Cherry. I can't wait to put the mattress and bedding in it!

I'll post more pictures when everything is decorated!
