North Carolina

M loved being out on the lake. He didn't even mind having his life jacket on. The last time he wore it he wasn't walking and it was hard to hold him in it. He didn't enjoy it then! He had no problem walking around in it though. He kept on wanting to walk off the boat and into the water! Good thing we tied hooked his harness leash thing into it.

Mason playing at the beach

Going down a slide by himself

Florida - Part II

The second time we went to the beach Mason was obsessed with going in the ocean. The water was probably on 50-something degrees, but he did not care. He kept on running in and had the time of his life.

We went to an indoor play area at a local outdoor mall. Mason had fun climbing on the dragon and running all over the place.

So now that I'm all caught up on Florida we're leaving for North Carolina tomorrow! I feel like we just got settled back home and off we go again. We normally don't go on so many vacations - especially back to back. North Carolina is our yearly trip to see good friend's of ours. I can't wait!

First word!

While we were in Florida Mason said his first word, Cat. He's actually said it before but I wasn't 100% sure until this trip. He would point and say "cat" as he was chasing the cat around. The funny thing is that we don't have a cat. Chris' parents have a cat but she's usually hiding from him. He is obsessed with her though.

I'm going to have many pictures soon. We had a great time in Florida. Mason loved running in the grass and was such a dare devil trying to swim in the ocean - the water was probably around 50 degrees!
