Trick or Treat

We took Mason trick or treating (except there were no tricks or treats for him!) We just wanted to show off his costume to some neighbors. He had fun riding in the wagon. Chris even took him off roading!

Double Digits

The monkey is 10 months!

Things he can do:
Crawl very fast
climb up stairs
wave
clap (did it today for the first time!)
cruise along the furniture
walk with a push toy
Stand on his own for a few seconds
This picture isn't really in focus but I love his face!

Family Fun

My Grandma came up for the weekend to see my sisters field hockey game. We went over for breakfast and Mason had lots of fun with his Great Grandma and Aunt Brittany.

snow baby

On October 15th we ended up getting some snow. VERY rare for that to happen in CT so I threw on M's snowsuit and took him outside to enjoy the snow. Hopefully he'll grow into the jacket before we get some real snow this winter.

Jake pushes Mason

We had a playdate with Mary and her son Jake. Jake is also a holiday baby - he was born New Years Day. Jake is a pro at his push car and gave Mason a ride.

Mason waves

His newest thing is to wave "Hi". He is a little spaz when he does it LOL.

Playdate w/ Caroline

Mason and I recently had a get together with Julia of Unexpectedly Expecting and her beautiful daughter Caroline. The babes had fun jamming at Gymboree and I think Mason had the most amount of fun at the mall play area. He doesn't do well sitting still for too long!

Pumpkin patch

I am really starting to enjoy Fall because there are so many fun things to do with Mason. We took him to the pumpkin patch and he had so much fun playing with the pumpkins. We went on a weekday and we were the only people there. We're going to try to go back during a weekend so we can take Mason on a hay ride.

Apple picking

On Sunday we took Mason apple picking. He had so much fun and was laughing so hard when Chris lifted him into the trees. I really wish I had brought the video camera.

Now I have to think of things to make with all of our delicious apples!

9 month stats and seperation anxiety

Yesterday was Masons 9 month well visit. Here are his stats:

height - 29 1/4 inches - 75th percentile
weight- 17 lbs 14 oz
head - 44.2 cm - 25th percentile

I forgot what the weight percentile was, but I know it was less than 25 (which it has been past appointments). The Dr. said that was fine and it's due to his crawling and how active he is. He eats, pees and poops so I'm not worried.

Starting last week Mason starting going through seperation anxiety at night when we put him down to bed. He would just scream and scream and scream. We let him sleep in bed with us because it was the only way any of us were going to get some sleep. The past 3 nights he's been in his bed at the start of the night but it has not been easy getting him to sleep. Last night was the first time it took less than 30 min - it had been taking up to two hours! Wish us luck that tonight goes smooth!
