We made our first gingerbread house. At first I had big plans of doing it from scratch, but decided that was just too complicated for being 9 months pregnant. Instead I bought a kit at Target and it was just as much fun!

Finding our Christmas Tree
Every year we go and cut down our Christmas tree. Last year Ryder fell asleep in the car so he missed out on the festivities. This year he didn't miss out one bit and had a great time.
We ended up going to two different places. The first place was a little complicated in the tree cutting process but we were there long enough for a few photos.
We then went where we went last year, and where we'll continue to go. It's the same owner of the pumpkin patch we go to. We got to see all the animals which of course the boys loved.

online shopping
Happy Thanksgiving!
I'm actually already done with most of my shopping, but this is the beginning of the shopping season for most. If I wasn't expecting 3.0 any day now I wouldn't be on top of things as much as I am.
I recently learned from a friend about ebates and I LOVE it! I'm a big online shopper and by going through ebates first I get money back. Paid for shopping, awesome! I'm pretty sure I'm the last person in the world to hear about it, but if not check it out.

This morning I got 10% back for shopping at Kohls. All you have to do is go to ebates first and then find the store you want to shop at. Such a great way to get a little money back this holiday season. Enjoy :)

36 weeks!
Oh my, technically 3.0 could be here in 1 week. I'm hoping for a little longer than that, but either way it will be SOON! I haven't taken any belly photos recently so took a couple during our snow storm yesterday. They predicted only an inch or two with nothing sticking, but instead parts of our town got 4-8 inches! Crazy that it's only the beginning of November.

trick or treat
Despite having no power from Hurricane Sandy we were still able to trick or treat. The town had canceled their even on Main street, but we never go to that anyway. However we did find out after coming home that the town put another phone call out highly discouraging people from going out in their neighborhoods. Whoops. They really should have called earlier. The call didn't come in until 4:15/4:30 and we left at 4 so we would get home before dark. The kids had a blast and we made sure to stay away from downed power lines :)
